– Oppo Reno3 has been strolled in the homeland as smartphone middle class with a capable camera capability. Where in the kitchen the Oppo Reno3 is powered by the latest chipset made by MediaTek, the Helio P90. This time we will review performance test for Oppo Reno3 devices.

This chipset has a processor configuration that is Octa-core 2 × 2.2 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6 × 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. While on the GPU side, the Helio P90 embeds a graphics processor PowerVR GM9446.

Of course we are all curious, what kind of performance is displayed on this device. We have done a series performance test for Oppo Reno3 devices.

Besides chipset MediaTek Helio P90, smartphone This is also supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Of course, this memory capacity is very capable in supporting the device.

For testing the performance of Oppo Reno3, as usual we test it by using several applications benchmarks, namely AnTutu, 3DMark and also PCMark 2.0.

For information, AnTuTu 8 provides a performance simulation smartphone from four aspects including CPU, GPU, RAM and also User Experience. While 3DMark is a benchmarking application used to test graphics (GPU) performance on smartphone devices.

Then PCMark 2.0 is an application benchmarking which will display the score to represent the performance smartphone in everyday use. Such as browsing, edit photos and video, texting, as well as calculations.

When testing the Oppo Reno3 performance, we also use the performance mode on the device. Which is accessed via the menu Settings > Battery > High Performance Mode.

We deliberately activated the High Performance Mode on the Oppo Reno3 device in order to know the maximum capabilities of this smartphone itself.

In benchmark AnTuTu, Oppo Reno3 recorded a score of 220878. This figure is not too high when compared to smartphone other middle classes that use chipset like Snapdragon 720G, Snapdragon 730G or Helio G90T. Although this number is of course also already high enough for smooth daily use.

Similarly, the 3DMark Sling Shot benchmark displays graphical scores on the device. Helio P90 in Oppo Reno3 is only able to give a figure of 2456. This figure is still below a few smartphone other premium middle class.

While on PCMark 2.0 testing, the resulting figure is quite good, reaching 9112. It seems that, thanks to the APU AI Accelerator technology embedded in the device, the resulting PCMark score seems quite high.
